People would assume that if president Trump asked the Attorney General to not recuse himself from an investigation that involved potential collusion between Trump campaign and the Russian government, the reason would most likely be a want of favors from Sessions for the benefit of Trump. Or having the investigation conducted more in the ways that Trump would call for. Even though there is no clear, legal right of a president to bastardize an investigation for personal reasons.
Maybe the specific matter of collusion isn't the most important thing that went on between the Washington politicians and the Russians. I always said the oil market was being controlled to profit more off Americans by keeping the nation dependent on OPEC and Canadian oil. But also coming up with reasons to put holds on Natural Gas sales and production in America. It seems that an investigation into possible collusion might turn up some real life shenanigans that certain businessmen and politicians want to keep covered. So what good would it do Trump to keep Sessions or have another AG that is not under his control, as far as an investigation goes?
I think someone got cheated out of an oil company and a couple hundred thousand acres of land in west Texas, before all the oil was discovered there a few months back. It seems to me that the understanding that oil could be gotten from the Permian Basin area in western Texas was already known. The question is whether the information and oil thefts were covered up. Whether or not a plan of collusion involving control was acted upon by businessmen who wanted to suppress oil production in America to protect their investments in OPEC oil futures?
America bought a lot of oil from foreign interests and Canada, but was it really necessary? And if it wasn't, who profited the most from the control of the markets? Maybe they should investigate that.
