The man making the video spells out things that are wrong with Obamacare and then says that the Republican bill makes those things worse. Problem with that is that he hasn't read it.
The other problem was that Democrats didn't tell people that these problems, talked about in this video, would be a result of Obamacare.
Another point to consider is the fact that things that were in need of changes or policies that simply did not work, were not made better by the passage of the AHCA. Some things were completely ignored and some things did in fact get worse after the bill was passed. Predictably worse.
The bill being considered, with respect to Medicaid. If it did take things back to where we were before Obamacare we would be in a position to add supplemental insurance as an option. Much like Medicare. - This would save tax dollars and fill a huge hole in coverage affordability for a great percentage of Medicaid recipients. Others who can not afford the supplemental policies could be helped through Human Services until they are working.
Giving Medicaid and supplementing policies by squeezing Medicare and using cost transference was a bad idea to begin with. Not fair to other poor or disabled people and elderly people were also threatened by Obamacare.
These are the facts.
