Covered up for Sandusky. Or, was a part of the conspiracy to frame him?
Pleading guilty to the lesser evil would be the way to go. In the case of Schultz and Curley if they know Sandusky was innocent, you ask yourself- what motivated them to lie about it? To lie and say they covered for him when they know it's not true? The only reason would be that they were involved in something far worse and lying about Sandusky would be the only way out for them. At least until they are finally found out about and admit that they knew Sandusky was innocent and that they took part in framing him.
Hoping that saying they knew Sandusky was guilty and they covered for him will bring the matter to a close.
Looking at it from that standpoint, the emails were staged to shed guilt on Sandusky. As a suggestion, but not enough info to convict them of hiding the truth. Clever.
They must have been involved in framing Sandusky. Fascinating....
